Well Steve Usher gor six of us in his car back to Spoons from the ground. Magnificent effort

We sometimes pass, we never move and we do it so slowly I bet our walking football cup winning team would be quicker and best us.

Town are a dead man walking. If the new manager cannot give the kiss of life and bring us back, or at least effect some dead cat bounce, we are destined for a return to the Conference. I pray that when that when the team sheet is tweeted at 2.00pm Saturday it is not greeted with the universal groans of the last few weeks. Michael Jolley must surely have seen enough in the last two games to know certain players are either not good enough, not fit enough or, simply and most sadly, don't care enough to pull on that shirt. I don't need to name names: no one who has watched us since the turn of the year needs telling who they are.

We have been poor all season and dazzled by an over-rated one-trick pony from the off. We got lucky in a poor division and beat three poor teams unconvincingly on the bounce. That elevated us to a false position. There is nothing false about our position now.

The division is awful and Carlisle aren't a whole lot better than par. We had the benefit of two locals to fill us in on them but to be honest there was nothing to fear. They were quicker, more committed and could defend and score. But that goes for everyone in comparison to us.

Official warning

Scott Oldham

Oldham got the second goal wrong, the penalty right and wasn't needed bar that: 5/10

Readers' digest

I have been saying for weeks that we were in serious trouble, only to be labelled a doom-monger and told other clubs were worse. Well they aren't. They are all winning the odd game while
