Some pundits thought that Rushden and Diamonds might struggle this season -
their first ever in division two - but with young talent like Gary Mills
here, how can they fail? Although too young to remember Blue Peter of the
early 1980s, this exciting midfielder already has an excellent grasp of the
Joey Deacon face and arm. Not only that, but see how the eyes point in
slightly different directions - it's almost as if they follow you around the
room and keep an eye on the telly at the same time. The arched eyebrow, the
ripply neck... this kid's got everything. He's going to go a long way.
