Things you only know if you're from Grimsby

It's a bit out of the way, there's not a lot to do there, and it's not exactly a vibrant patchwork of multiculturalism. But hey, there are worse places to be (I once spent the night in Northampton), and Grimsby has a culture, humour and language all its own. The 'Things you only know if you're from Grimsby' series is my jaded and cynically tongue-in-cheek but, I hope, moderately affectionate attempt at recording, if not celebrating, some of it.
