A seasoned up hyena could not have been more obscener

Mardy Diary writes: Hooray! It's the weekend. Not a lot to report for the first leg of Town's semi-final at Cambridge tomorrow other than what we already know: Pearson is suspended, everyone else is OK.
Cambridge manager Dickie Dosh has claimed that if Cambridge and Grimsby met in the final then there'd be 50,000 fans there whereas now there'll only be three fans there because boooo! Little clubs!
Frankly I think he's talking bollocks – last year there were 35,000 for Grimsby versus Wrexham and, no offence Dickie me ol' mucker, Wrexham have a better supporter base than Cambridge have ever had. I think we'd have been lucky to hit 30,000 if we'd played Cambridge in the final this year. Against one of the 'smaller' teams? Dunno – not a lot less, I don't think. It's amazing how a team with only a few supporters can suddenly gather a whole lot more when they go to Wembley, isn't it?
I'm tired of this sneering and sense of superiority from ex-League teams in the Conference. As if we're both giants with our average gates of 3,000. How dare these minnows not bow down to MASSIVE clubs like ours? Who do they think they are? We've spent decades being shit to get into the Conference. What have they ever done? What... win leagues? Pfft. Winning leagues. That's not how you become a giant in non-League. LISTEN TO US – WE'RE FAILURES AND WE WANT TO BLAME ALL OF OUR FAILURE AND ANY FUTURE FAILURE ON YOU.
Paul Hurst, to his credit, retains a level of class, modesty and balance when he talks of other clubs (generally). I don't think that was the case with the Shouty one – and Money is definitely in the Shouty bracket. Perhaps old Dickie boy is just a little bitter about the personal failure which has seen him drop out of the League and end up as a non-League manager. You've only yourself to blame, Richard.
Anyway, let's do Dick a favour and ensure that he doesn't have to see his Cambridge side in the FA Trophy final in front of about 30,000 supporters by seeing them off tomorrow.
Have a good weekend.
