The Professor Pat Pending of the wacky play-off race was moderately chuffed as Town did just enough to rebuff the Creepy Crawlers, and did just enough to keep Young Matt awake:

"Should have been three or four up by half time… should have been more convincing but if you score two goals in a game then they've got to score two to get something off you, if you like."

Colin the Caterpillar droned on and on and on about this and about that, but mainly about the others. Apparently Town are big bruisers who bully their way to victory:

"It's on me…We got outcompeted a little bit…First half was end to end. Grimsby are a big, physical, really fit team and sometimes we got dragged into their game…Credit to Grimsby…blocks…bravery…bodies on the line.
