Grimsby Town set a new record with the signing of youngster Andrew Pettinger, meaning the club now has 137 goalkeepers on the books. Pettinger's only 18, and the diary is very excited about this addition, actually, as he did extremely well between the sticks in my Championship Manager team a while back. Watch out for Andrew's Premiership winning performances and England call-up in 2011/12, everyone.

The diary notes what they hope is a cheeky accidentally-on-purpose typo on the official site. Tune in to hear Paul Groves' official speech on Christmas day, they say, to find out if he has had an 'Anus Horibilis'. Oooh, nasty. Is there a doctor in the house?
