Diary - Thursday 12 December 2002
12 December 2002
A big Bagpuss-style yawn for you all today, because nothing Mariners-related is happening anywhere in the world, so far as we can tell. Which admittedly isn't that far, but the Grimmo Telegraph is reduced to running a story saying Town aren't signing anyone. Yeah, and meanwhile, George Bush hasn't learned humility. Town's official site, meanwhile, carries a Darren Mansaram interview in which the young striker expresses his wish to score a goal this Saturday. It really is that bad. If you're bored, you can always re-read Tuesday's Diary - it was pretty good that day. Ah, Tuesday. It seems like a lifetime away. Right, I'm off down the pub in a minute. I can't be doing with this.
Early team news for tomorrow's Diary is that your regular diarist is out of contention for the fixture, as he will be getting trashed on vodka in an overheated hall of residence in Sheffield ready to dance the night away in celebration of his redundancy to various tracks of the indiepop genre. A team of reserve diarists stand by to make the step-up to first-team Diary duty.
