Sometimes extraordinary circumstances just demand a response that's a little out of the ordinary too. We hope you didn't think we were being melodramatic or anything, taking the site down. It's just that, well, Tuesday night saw Town's worst result since the formation of the club in 1878. And simply to have reeled off a diary, after that, as if it were just a day like any other... it wouldn't have felt right. What we did wasn't a stunt. It was a statement. A statement that needed to be made.

As for the notion that taking the site down meant we were giving up on the club, nothing could be more ridiculous. One day, we suppose, we might, for whatever reason, want to pull the plug permanently on this little website caper. But that won't mean the end of our support. However badly GTFC happen to be run, we'll never stop supporting them. We hope you feel the same way.
