Mardy Diary writes: I'm ill. And tired – mostly on account of the illness. So while I don't really expect your sympathy, you're going to get a short diary today.

It's Barnet in the FA Trophy tomorrow and Paul Hurst has said he won't be playing a load of youngsters but a few may get a chance. One such player is Caine Winfarrah who made an instant impact against Woking when he came on as sub – setting up the winner for Disley. There's a really nice interview with him in the Telegraph which you should immediately go and read...

...done? Good. There's also a good piece on the Mariners Trust blog about income received from cup matches. Again, the FA Trophy money may not seem like much in the context of football finances, but in the context of our finances it's a substantial sum (being more than the negative amounts we have). The club has also been selected for extended highlights for the FA Cup match, which will bring in a further £8,000. At this rate we'll be debt-free by... 2134.

Thanks to all those who've written in this week – we'll be publishing all of your emails in our Postbag this weekend, so look out for that.

If you're going to Barnet tomorrow enjoy yourself, and the rest of yer have a good weekend too.
