We're unbeaten in 2014
1 January 2014
Good morning everyone and a happy new year to you all. And welcome to your first diary of 2014. Your London Diary woke up fully clothed with a huge hangover and snuggled next to a pizza box. I could be the adopted child of Tony Gallimore and Tony Crane. Start as you mean to go on, etc...
Anyway, shorter diary than usual today because of the above and also because I'm travelling to BP to see the sequel of The Lincolnshire Derby. Sadly, big Clayton definitely won't be starting in the derby as he has a plate in his arm. Ivano had a plate in his face. This town is riddled with plates.
I was lucky enough to be at both the Lincoln and Macclesfield games this festive period and I have to say the atmosphere at the Macclesfield game was like a living room on Boxing Day, roughly around 8pm. Devoid of action, wearing unwanted presents, smelling of Christmas leftovers and everyone grumbling about the entertainment. The atmosphere at Lincoln was electric. Let's get electric at Blundell Park. Sing, dance, whistle, beat a bloody drum if you have to. But let's make some noise and get behind the boys. Up the Mariners! Oh, and wrap up because it's awful out there.
