Cod Almighty | Diary
Late for a very important date
8 April 2014
Hello, it's your misplaced Mardy Diary here, late as ever and filling in last-minute. You'll have to excuse the shortness and lateness on account of last-minute work things and a general lack of news.
So Town are into the second of their 4/7 fixture pile-up and will move one step closer to play-off 'safety' if they win tonight against Massive Woking. Town may yet continue their run of claiming a "stinky" 1-0 win, which will please Andrew Boyce but probably make our match reporter Tony Butcher get an almighty monk on. Look forward to that report, folks. I'm off to stick a tenner on Rodman.
In other news, Oumare Tounkara may have said something, but Paul Hurst doesn't know what that may have been – and neither does anyone else, it would seem. But whatever he has or hasn't said to someone/anybody/no-one, it doesn't matter anyway, apparently. Personally, I'm glad we've cleared that up – it was like a weight on my mind.
Anyway, gotta rush. Cheer on the lads for me tonight as I can't make it. Up the bleedin' Mariners.
