Scunthorpe defender Andrew Boyce is back at Blundell Park, on a month's loan. There is little in his interview for the Telegraph to justify the headline implying a longer deal may appeal to Boyce, but you know that without reading it. You have been reading local newspaper headlines long enough.
The interview does demonstrate that Scott Neilson and Alex Rodman rush in where Boyce fears to tread. "I'm not going to lie, my initial hope was to break into the Scunthorpe side this season, but it hasn't worked out like that so I'm more than happy to be coming back to Grimsby." he says. Try drumming up a controversy on Twitter about that bit of tomorrow's chip wrapping.

It is now 46 days since England were eliminated from the World Cup.
