It's hard to pick anyone out in such a great performance. Tempting to say everyone, crowd included. Will plump for Mills. May seem odd to pick a full-back in a 3-0 win but his power in defence and menace going forward had Plymouth on the back foot. Davies must be concerned too.
"I've said this week that the honeymoon period's over, and we had a training session that I wasn't quite happy with. But credit to them today, they've put in a performance.
''For me it was the mentality and the character today, I thought that was great and the desire to keep a clean sheet was there for all to see."
"You always want to win games, and today I thought Grimsby were better than us. They deserved to win the match, even though we have opened them up numerous times without scoring the goal when we needed to."
Impossible to describe how good we were. Think Bolton second half and then some, and add an end product. A few weeks ago you worried where the next goal was coming from. We now look a marauding, powerful unit.
They are a very good side. They may well have been off-colour. Maybe the injury just before KO affected them.
If you were there you were privileged. Don't miss Crawley.
Mr R Jones (Gwent)
Didn't mention him once. Even got the advantage for the third goal spot on, so 9/10. Would be 10 but he must have got something wrong. I was just too happy to notice.
I liked Paul Hurst and defended him far more than should've been required. There is no way, however, two up away to the league leaders, that he was fetching on a winger. Enjoyable.
