Two grizzled prizefighters scrapping for their pride in a muddy filed. Alternately knocking lumps off each other and holding each other up, as their vision blurs.

Dizza, Collins, Pearson, Andrew and Jones were all alright on the night but the nod goes to Mills for being the closest thing to a winger on display and also defending stoutly.

I was going to say Gavin Gunning but it's not his fault he's playing in a team with no structure and no system is it? Nope, the blame lies with Marcuses and he needs to buck his ideas up, fast. He also needs to stop doing interviews if he can't answer questions about McKeown without coming across as a massive bell-end.

It was an absolutely superb response, because our pride was hurting from Saturday. To respond in the manner in which we did, I'm absolutely bursting with pride

Set up to get a draw? Who knows? One could draw names out of a hat and get a more coherent side together. Maybe that's what we did? Still, at least we didn't ship four goals in the first half hour.

Threatened our lot's shirts more than they did McKeown's goal but let's be fair, if you are scrapping for survival, and the officials let you get away with it then, you'll bend the rules, no? They're organised and trying hard but will still probably go down. I feel for you, Lenny.

200 hardy Mariners made their way across the border and after Saturday's debacle that's a pretty decent turnout. We've done our bit so surely it's time for the manager to reciprocate and set his team up to entertain and maybe score a goal or two?
