Grimsby Town 3 Collins (17), S Jones (45+3, 70)
Attendance: 4668 (1508 away fans)
Unlike last week, there are plenty of candidates. Collins and Gunning deserve mentions. Macca made some crucial saves. Osborne is never far away. Mills was everywhere, committed and passionate, but it would be churlish not to give it to Sam Jones. Goals and saves win games and the clinical nature of his second promises lots.
Happy with the response post-Doncaster. The fans will have a great weekend.
Our defending was horrific and we weren't on it today. We can't kid ourselves today.
We're Town. As good this week as we were lifeless in the second half last week.
Had some decent quality and you could see why they were on such a good run. Lost it once the third went in and became ugly.
Bignot made one change from Doncaster. He sent out a side which played with passion and no little skill and looked like they cared. 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-1-2-1-2, it's all irrelevant. It's a will to win that counts. Sometimes players get off lightly. If this Town turn up for the last five games we'll be close. The same goes for the support. No moaning, just raucous noise from start to finish. We've all got our role.
Mr D Deadman (Herts)
Could probably just cut and paste this bit. Strangely inconsistent and believes a simple mistimed tackle deserves the same punishment as running 10 yards to push your opponent in the face with both hands. No Ross Joyce but 5/10.
Blackpool didn't expect this Town to turn up. Then again, neither did we.
