The Cod Almighty editorial team has asked Domestic Diary to make the following statement: "We are fully cooperating with Humberside Police in their investigation into the disappearance of BOTB Diary. In response to witness statements that he was last seen running towards Humberston on Cleethorpes beach, pursued by a giant plastic ball, and shouting 'It's a tinpot league, I tell you', we are awaiting advice from our solicitor, but for some reason Phil Day isn't taking our calls."

In other news (maybe that should just be "news" or even "news (?)"), confirmation that the famously laconic US President Calvin Coolidge does not work for the Grimsby Telegraph.

"What did Mr Hurst talk about in the press conference?"

"Artificial pitches."

"What did he say?"

"He's against them."

We'll give you an update on BOTB Diary when we get it, and Mark Stilton hopes to be back with Fenty 3 next week.
