It maybe hot out there but it's scorching at Grimsby Town
19 July 2022
As it's the end of the school year I thought it was about time I had a quick flick through Town's report.

Preparation | With limited time to set things in motion, we still saw changes when we returned to Blundell Park last season. A decent barrier in the Upper and pop-up sprinklers for the pitch. I'm sure you could name more.

Cookery | Town have had a good year with some very decent offerings. Gone are the days when we would set off early to avoid having to eat at the ground.

Art and Technology | A bit of a mid-season kerfuffle with the change of logo which affected the score but excellent progress since then.

Communication | In a different league to the previous 20 years. Let's never forget how far we have come.
| A+ |
Physical Education | Wow! Maybe that fitness and conditioning coach will get you three points on a Saturday. We certainly triumphed in three successive 120-minute games. Perhaps there's more to this fitness lark than we realised!
| A+ |
Languages | Some interesting strangled noises from the game at Wrexham in May will need investigating.

Points for next year | I don't think I can ever remember a pre-season like this one: calm, measured, progressing. Some very decent looking signings and maybe more to come. There has been speculation about whether Smith may come back on loan? Well, I for one hope so. It would be getting the gang back together with a few new mates added in. | A |
All in all Town, the past year augurs very well for the future. UTM!
