All Town aren't we?!

Apparently a documentary has been made about our 2021/22 season. As is the modern way, the distribution company Propagate Content is responsible for selling it for streaming and hopefully to TV channels. I say "hopefully" because it would be lovely for the widest possible audience to be able to watch it and streaming might be a step too far for some of our older fans.

It would also be great to be able to purchase a DVD at some point. Yes, yes, I know. That's what us old fogies do but if something is particularly precious, I like to have it in a hard format, whether it's a book, a particular album or "All Town Aren't We" a DVD of our season. Then it's always there, whenever I might want to indulge in a little Town footy happiness. Out in time for Christmas this year and that's a fair few people's Christmas presents sorted and it's not even July. I know I haven't seen it and all that, but I think it will be a pretty decent story.

Back to this season and Hursty has had that trusty signing pen out again. This time Rekeil Pyke, another striker. That's four frontmen this season. Now I'm sure for some fans they're not good enough but bring them together and hopefully there will be magic. They almost certainly said the same about Johnny McAtee and his first season with us was indeed magic. I'm very much looking forward to the start of next season but I do like that point in the season when someone has been with us for long enough that they are easily recognisable out on the pitch.

I was having some furniture moved recently and one of the lads who was moving it was a big Town fan and a season ticket holder. Needless to say there was a reasonable amount of football talk. What's great is to see how much the last couple of years have enthused younger Town fans. We've been through one of the most dire periods in our history but with the positivity now around the club I have hope for our long term future. Let's take a moment and relish it, we all deserve it.
