Idle Diary writes: "It's a tough away tie but a team we are aware of rather than an unknown quantity. It was another away game, like the last two, where we gave the opposition a two-goal start and that will be fresh in the players' minds." Which is all there is to be found on Neil Woods' reaction to the club's FA Cup qualifying round draw against Tamworth. So, basically: we better not give away cheap goals in an away game again. Thanks for that, Neil.
The other Town news of the day relates to the squad's injuries and recoveries. The goodish news is Steven Watt does not have complete knee knack, just "damaged medial ligaments" - which sits in between cruciate damage (very bad) and jarred knee (not so bad). There's a stiffs game this afternoon, against Middlesbrough at Blundell Park, which Rob Atkinson will get a run out on as part of his rehabilitation (from injury, not drugs misuse). Town will also cast an eye over Netan Sansara (who spent last season on Walsall's books), as well as another peek at Lee Sawyer.
That is all.
