Mardy Diary writes: Hello again! In lieu of anyone to bring you anything of any interest to read, you'll just have to put up with me trotting out yesterday's news again.

And the news is this: Dean Morgan will not, actually, be playing for GTFC reserves today. The half-arsed winger has taken half-arsedness to a new level and decided that he couldn't be bothered to sit on a coach to Gateshead and would rather go and do something less boring instead.

This ground-breaking news, which came from that Twitter (which newspapers seem to source all their news from these days), was met by the sounds of several thousand people shrugging yesterday afternoon.

Dean, son of Piers, you'll go down in history as a player we never signed. A momentous occasion. Seeya.
