Never knowingly supporting Nazis

Mardy Diary writes: when a player wants to leave their current club for another (as yet undetermined) club they are often described as 'wantaway'. But what do you call a player who wants to go on loan? Wantsabreak? Wanttemporarilyaway? Come on journalists, we need more football terminology...
So, Andy Cook has asked to go out on loan so he can get a few games and try and recapture a bit of form. I think we all understand that - although Hurst seems fairly adamant he's going nowhere and will continue to be in the match day squad. He has however given permission for both Southwell and Thanoj to go on loan if the opportunity arises.
Southwell is understandable, being, as he is, quite a way down the striker pecking order. Striking order? Strecking order? Whatever. With Thanoj presumably the arrival of Ritchie Jones has limited his opportunities and one suspects that Jones may be around for a bit longer than his initial month.
Hurst also says that Thanoj needs more match practice, stating that he "plays well for a couple of games but then goes missing again." While his assessment is probably about right, I can't help feeling that you could also apply that to a number of other players at the club.
Hurst is expecting to make few changes, if any, to the team for the match at Aldershot. Players seem to have shaken off injuries and only Colbeck is unavailable due to his ban.
Unfortunately there's no match preview this week - it's a bit hectic at CA Towers at the moment. However, we should be back to normal next week. Sorry about that.
And on that hurried note I'll leave you to it. Have a good weekend.
