Have a Stella, you deserve it

24 December 2014

It's your London Diary here yet again for the second day in a row. We all know who the real saviour is, don't you worry. Working on a double in the run-up to Christmas? You're all very welcome.

This ain't gonna be long today: I have to go out and buy more food for the week as 'someone' has eaten most of the stock. So this will just be a quick ta and bye before we head into the busy Chrimbo period.

If you're going to the games over the festive period, have fun and remember these two things: (1) it's been clinically proven that fighting at a football match makes you infertile; (2) taking pyrotechnics to a game will result in you looking like a massive cock. So just mind how you go.

It's been a good old year in my view. We've won games, we've lost games, but more importantly there really does seem to be a nice sense of 'togetherness' with our club at the moment, and never forget that it is our club. I love being a Grimsby Town fan, especially living down in London and people ask what that little badge on my coat is. "It's my Grimsby Town badge," I say, beaming with pride, knowing that the halfwit who doesn't recognise it probably supports an American or Russian Oil team. I am proud of who I support, regardless of where we are in the league or geographically on a Saturday afternoon. We are who we are, and I support that.

Before I go, I may have had a small hand in making this video, so if you haven't watched it yet, please do. I'm pretty proud of it and I think it sums up how I feel about the club.

From everyone here at CA Towers, have a very merry Christmas whatever you do, big or small. If you don't have any plans, there's always somewhere where you can #joinin. Have fun and we'll see you in a few days. Up the bloody Mariners!
