So now that we're out of the FA Trophy, Town will definitely get promoted. That's how it works, right?

Badly worded CLUB STATEMENT ahoy! Aswad Thomas is on his way – one way or another. When your original/regular Diary saw that something had appeared on Town's superb new official website about the situation of our left-back, I was glad that the club had decided to inform us about what was going on. When I actually clicked the link and read the statement, I felt like I knew less than I did before. Either way, don't expect to see the player back in black and white stripes any time soon. The vagueness of the 'information' on offer is perhaps as much attributable to the private and personal nature of the issues as to Town's inability to string a sentence together, so let's not pry and speculate, and let's hope Thomas still enjoys a fulfilling career and life, whatever it is that's up.

And finally today – sorry, I got called into a meeting at bloody one o'clock – Mr Christian Jolley is not next door, so let's move on from that one. Where were we going to put another striker anyway? On work experience at McDonald's?
