Just finished reading "The Wrong Boy" by Willy Russell, the hero spends most of the book trying to get to Grimsby and when he finally arrives describes it thus;

Grimsby! Oh Grimsby One look's all it takes To prove even God Can make mistakes!

Letters Ed responds: 12 November 2008 Never understood why we stopped playing in red socks, really do distinguish us from the plastic strpeys of Newcastle and Notts. Bring Em Back!!! My Fishytastic And all together for the chorus: "Then CAMREDs come rally, and the last fight let us fight Grimsby Town in red socks are a noble sight"
