It's a rare Wednesday for your London Diary as today's entry is being written only 0.9 miles away from Blundell Park. It's back to the old dear's house for a few days as work brings me north, and what a joy it is to be back by the coast with this lovely weather. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.

Weirdly, not much has happened in the last 24 hours. Yesterday Boston United confirmed the signing of ex-Town lad Dayle Southwell, which in my eyes is a great signing for both parties. Hopefully young Dayle will be able to bang in a few beauts for the Pilgrims and we'll all be friends like we used to be. Good luck, Master Southwell: we wish you all the best.

In other news, the club is looking for fans to appear in a promotional video, so if being in front of the camera is your kind of thing then get involved. Not my cup of tea – I feel much safer behind a laptop. 

Lastly, Austin Haddock likes men. This really is a short diary, but I'd rather you spent some time outside instead of locked up inside with square eyes. Enjoy your day, guys and girls.
